Plap Fees

Paid Events attract a

5% reservation fee

=> 0% for verified charity events.

=> 0% for free events.

=> Tickets above ₦500,000 will incur a flat fee of ₦25,000 each.

=> the fee is subtracted from the creator.

Payment Gateway Fees

Plap uses Paystack to process payments and each transaction costs.

1.5% + NGN 100

=> ₦100 fee waived for transactions under ₦2500

=> Local transactions fees are capped at ₦2000, meaning that's the absolute maximum you'll ever pay in fees per transaction

Cumulated event fee is disbursed to the event creator's wallet, after Plap fees have been deducted, on the 3rd day after event. Money can then be withdrawn from the wallet.

Wallet

Users can only pay for an event from their wallets, so wallets have to be funded first. The minimum allowed funding is ₦100.

Payment processing platform (Paystack) fees are deducted from users during withdrawal from, or deposition into their wallets. The wallet is used to pay for anything on Plap including event fees.

Refund Policy

To get a full refund:

  1. event has to be more than 7 days from when it is scheduled to happen.
  2. event must be canceled within 7 days of initial reservation.

To get part refund which is money initially paid for reservation minus Plap's event fees:

  1. event has to be more than 7 days from when it is scheduled to happen.
  2. event is canceled after 7 days of initial reservation.

You would not get a refund:

  1. event is less than 7 days from when it is scheduled to happen.
